Meet the Job Guy
Guy Huguelet is a human resource professional with over 25 years of experience in human capital management, community development and leadership, workforce development, vocational training, second chance reentry employment programming and implementation.
Guy has a passion for second chance people, recovery and opportunity. He was the founding executive director of one of Central Kentucky’s first Second Chance employment nonprofits Jubilee Jobs of Lexington. If it is about workforce development, training and placement in the area of a second chance or reentry transition for individuals from prison, jail, residential recovery treatment back into the community Guy will have a seat at the table. Creating jobs, changing lives and making a difference in community is his purpose.
For most of his career Guy owned and operated a full-service staffing and human resource company in Central Kentucky that specialized in clerical, light industrial, professional, technical staffing and direct hire recruitment and placement in IT, Healthcare, Engineering, Financial, C level and Nonprofit business.
Additionally, Guy was President and CEO of the Public Safety Institute of Kentucky the sole provider of the Drive Safe Kentucky Traffic Safety Education Program and The Public Safety Institute Take the Pledge and Save a Life Prevention and Intervention Program. PSI mission is to save lives using safety awareness programs dedicated to drug and alcohol prevention and intervention, driving under the influence, distracted driving and traffic safety awareness through strategic partnerships with Federal, State and Local Government, Educators, Elected Officials, Prosecutors, Non-Profit Organizations, Office of Highway Safety and Advocacy Groups.
